Sisters A. Chocolate 78% Dominican Republic with Blackcurrant & Juniper 65g

Bright dark chocolate made from Dominican cocoa with the addition of freeze-dried currants, juniper berries and pink pepper. Deep chocolate flavor with notes of red fruits, dry red wine, currants.

The currants were not added to the chocolate in pieces, but were evenly rubbed into the chocolate. This resulted in a more balanced taste.

Flavor profile: red berries, red wine notes, resinous, woody. Sour, moderate tartness.

Ingredients:  cocoa beans, unrefined cane sugar (22%), cocoa butter, freeze-dried currants, juniper berries.
