Croissant and coffee, the breakfast of dreams. A half-and-half chocolate bar, using leftover croissants from breakfast at Watergate Bay Hotel, paired with used coffee grounds in dark chocolate. Fully traceable bean to bar chocolate. Our food system is broken, but we’re doing our part to help fix it – one delicious bar at a time.
Rather than throwing away the leftover croissants from breakfast at the iconic Watergate Bay Hotel, we have been collecting them throughout the summer ready to repurpose into chocolate. These regular collections have been supported by our friends at Westcountry Food Sales who are based just down the road from us, and deliver to the hotel on a daily basis anyway!
The coffee grinds are from our espresso machine at the factory, we are lucky enough to drink Monmouth house espresso for our morning coffees. We take these already expressed coffee grinds and freeze them ready for processing into dark chocolate.
We’re so proud of this delicious bar, enjoy together as you would your breakfast or try the two parts separately.
CRAFT CHOCOLATE
As with all our products, the chocolate is made from bean-to-bar in our Falmouth factory.

Dark chocolate and coffee: cocoa beans, unrefined sugar, coffee. White chocolate and croissant: cocoa butter, unrefined sugar, milk powder, dried croissant (Wheat Flour( Gluten), Butter (Milk), Water, Sugar, Yeast, Wheat (Gluten), Salt, Egg, Flour Treatment Agent (Ascorbic Acid), butter (Milk), sea salt. 70g
